County <br />Manager, Mike Downs, advised he would keep the Board updated. <br />Closed Session <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to discuss <br />matters related to pending litigation and economic development as authorized <br />by NCGS 143- 318.11(a)(3) and (4). Patrick Coughlin was invited into the <br />closed session. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out of closed session. <br />Return to Open Session <br />Mike Downs briefly explained the Affordable Care Act requires insurance <br />to be offered to employees who work 30 hours or more. He advised in order to <br />comply with this regulation, the commissioners could choose to maintain <br />timesheets or select to deny the insurance coverage. <br />Adjourn <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt, <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 8 :32 p.m. <br />Megan it, Clerk to the Board <br />
