She reported during this fiscal year, one <br />unit was rehabilitated and the county has expended $1$,995.00. She also <br />advised two more units are underway and are anticipated to be completed this <br />fall. <br />Chairman Morris opened the public hearing at 6:50 p.m. The Public <br />Hearing Notice was published on August 5 and 7, 2015 in The Independent <br />Tribune. The Public Hearing Notice was also posted on the County's website <br />( www.cabarruscounty.us ) on August 5, 2015 in accordance with Article 2, <br />Administration, Section 2.1 (Use of Electronic Means to Provide Public <br />Notices) of the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances. <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore Chairman <br />Morris closed the public hearing. <br />No further action was required. <br />(G -3) Planning and Development - Proposed Adoption of the Town of Harrisburg <br />Comprehensive Bicycle, Pedestrian and Greenway Master Plan - Public Hearing <br />5:30 P.M. <br />Susie Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager, presented a request for <br />adoption of the Town of Harrisburg Comprehensive Bicycle, Pedestrian and <br />Greenway Master Plan as a supplement to the Harrisburg Area Land Use Plan <br />that was adopted in 2010. She stated the benefit of adoption of this plan as <br />a supplement to the Harrisburg Area Land Use Plan is it brings everything to <br />one place. <br />Chairman Morris opened the public hearing at 6:52 p.m. The Public <br />Hearing Notice was published on August 5 and 12, 2015 in The Independent <br />Tribune. The Public Hearing Notice was also posted on the County's website <br />( www.cabarruscounty.us ) on August 5, 2015 in accordance with Article 2, <br />Administration, Section 2.1 (Use of Electronic Means to Provide Public <br />Notices) of the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances. <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore Chairman <br />Morris closed the public hearing. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the Town of Harrisburg <br />Comprehensive Bicycle, Pedestrian and Greenway Master Plan as a supplement to <br />the Harrisburg Area Land Use Plan. <br />(G -4) Planning and Development - Proposed Text Amendments to Zonin <br />Ordinance (TEXT2015- 00002) - Public Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />Susie Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager, reported the Planning and <br />Zoning Text Amendment Committee has been working with staff and legal counsel <br />on general clarifications to various parts of the ordinance as well as <br />changes that are required due to SL2015 -86. She advised the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission voted on each amendment and recommended approval <br />unanimously. <br />Chairman Morris opened the public hearing at 6:55 p.m. The Public <br />Hearing Notice was published on August 5 and 12, 2015 in The Independent <br />Tribune. The Public Hearing Notice was also posted on the County's website <br />( www.cabarruscounty.us ) on August 5, 2015 in accordance with Article 2, <br />Administration, Section 2.1 (Use of Electronic Means to Provide Public <br />Notices) of the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances. <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore Chairman <br />Morris closed the public hearing. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the proposed text amendments to <br />Zoning Ordinance TEXT2015- 00002. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br />ZONING ORDINANCE <br />TEXT2015 -00002 <br />Ordinance No. 2015 -32 <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br />
