January 24, 2014 (Board Retreat) Page 1887 <br />Parks Director; Kelly Sifford, Planning and Development Director; Lundee <br />Covington, Human Resources Director' Alan Thompson, Emergency Medical <br />Services Director; Paul Hunt, Chief Deputy, Cabarrus County Sheriff's <br />Department; Debbie Brannan, Information Technology Services Director; Kyle <br />Bilafer, General Services Director; and Ann Wilson, Finance Director. <br />Ms. Dubois explained the purpose of the activity is for commissioners <br />to vote on programs they value by placing dots on the boards. She stated <br />the Board was provided packets with related information to review prior to <br />the retreat. <br />Board members participated in the exercise by placing dots beside <br />program names to indicate their support. <br />Mike Downs, County Manager, thanked the Board for their participation. <br />For clarification, he verified with Commissioner Oesterreich that check marks <br />beside his colored dots indicated program support, but with funding <br />modifications. Mr. Downs stated the information shows the Board's interests <br />and will assist in budget planning for the upcoming year. <br />The following tables show the results of the exercise.
