April 21, 2014 (Regular Meeting) Page 1997 <br />An application has been received from G. Tim Lowder to serve on the <br />Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) Advisory Committee. At the March <br />17, 2014 meeting, the HCCBG Advisory Committee voted to recommend Mr. Lowder <br />to fill the vacant "at- large" position. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Burrage, seconded by Commissioner Morris <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed G. Tim Lowder "At- large" <br />representative to the Home and Community Care block Grant Advisory Committee <br />to a two -year term ending December 31, 2015. <br />(I) REPORTS <br />(I -1) County Manager - Monthly Reports on Building Activity <br />The Board received the Cabarrus County Construction Standards Dodge <br />Report for March Y 2014 and the.Cabarrus County Commercial Building Plan Review <br />Summary for March 2014 'for informational purposes as part of the Agenda. No <br />action was required of the Board. <br />(I -2) EDC - March 2014 Monthly Summary Report <br />The Board received the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation (EDC) <br />monthly report for the month of March as part of the Agenda. No action was <br />required of the Board. <br />(I -3) Human Services - NC FAST Update <br />The Board received the NC FAST update as part of the Agenda. No action <br />was required of the Board. <br />(1 -4) Register of Deeds - First Quarter Records Report <br />The Board received the Register of Deeds' First Quarter Records Report <br />as part of the Agenda. She commended the hospitality and <br />tourism industry for making the event such a success_ <br />
