Tune 16, 2014 (Regular Meeting) <br />Page 2082 <br />WHEREAS, N.C.G.S. §159 -54 provides there shall be a public hearing on <br />the bond order and N.C.G.S. §159 -56 provides for publication of the bond <br />order as introduced; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Cabarrus, North Carolina: <br />1. A public hearing on the bond order shall be held at 6:30 p.m., <br />(or as soon thereafter as the hearing can be held), in the Commissioners` <br />Meeting Room in the Cabarrus County Governmental Center in Concord, North <br />Carolina on July 21, 2014. <br />2. The Clerk to the Board shall cause the bond order, with a <br />statement appended in the form described by N.C.G.S. §159 -56, to be published <br />once in The Independent Tribune not later than the sixth (6` day before July <br />21, 2014. <br />3. Either of the County Manager or the Finance Officer is hereby <br />designated to file the sworn statement of debt and the statement of estimated <br />interest with respect to the community college bonds, each being required by <br />N.C.G.S. §159 -55. <br />4.
