These funds provide for foster care and board payments on <br />behalf of children in the care of the Department. Through the <br />budgetary process, $900,000.00 was allocated to this line item <br />for these expenses, and $400,000.00 of Fund balance was assigned <br />to cover any expenses above the budgeted amount for Foster Care <br />should it be needed. Due to continued increase in children <br />coming in to custody, the Department is requesting a transfer of <br />$200,000.00 from the assigned fund balance funds to provide for <br />the current rate of expenditures within the Foster Care line <br />item. <br />Mr. Rose also responded to questions from the Board. <br />Human Services - Review of Bies - Provide Bulk Catering Services to the <br />LunchPlus Club Program <br />Ben Rose, Human Services Director, advised one of the vendors withdrew <br />their bid since the agenda was published. There is now only one bid for the <br />LunchPlus Club Program. <br />
