<br />Mike Downs, County Manager, advised a tornado damaged a number of homes
<br />this past weekend in the southern part of the County. As a result, he said,
<br />there is a lot of debris. After reporting on the County's practice to take
<br />similar action in the past for other catastrophic storms, he recommended the
<br />Board waive the building permit fees and C and D landfill fees for affected
<br />homeowners as defined in the following list for a 90 -day period beginning
<br />March 6, 2012. A brief discussion ensued.
<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Measmer and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board suspended its rules of procedures in order to
<br />take action on this item due to time constraints.
