June 18, 2012 (Regular Meeting) Page 1127 <br />® The county will conduct regular evaluations of ROAP funded passenger trips <br />and transportation services provided throughout the period of performance. <br />® The county will only use the ROAP funds to provide trips when other <br />funding sources are not available for the same purpose or the other <br />funding sources for the same purpose have been completely exhausted. <br />a The county assures that the required matching funds for the FY2013 ROAP <br />can be generated from fares and /or provided from local funds. <br />® The county will notify the Mobility Development Specialist assigned to the <br />county if any ROAP funded services are discontinued before the end of the <br />period of performance due to the lack of funding. No additional ROAP <br />funds will be available. <br />® The county will provide an accounting of trips, services and expenditures <br />in semi - annual reports to NCDOT - Public Transportation Division or its <br />designee. <br />a Any interest earned on the ROAP funds will be expended for eligible <br />program uses as specified in the ROAP application. The County will <br />include ROAP funds received and expended in its annual independent audit <br />on the schedule of federal and state financial assistance. He requested the <br />public hearing be postponed until a later date. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Measmer and <br />unanimously carried, the Board removed "EDC - Economic Development Grant <br />Request and Public Hearing - 6:30 P.M." from the Agenda. <br />(G -3) Finance - Qualified School Construction Bonds Reallocation Request for <br />Concord High School - $85,000.00 <br />Len Witke, Executive Director, Facilities Management Department, <br />Cabarrus County Schools, requested a Qualified School Construction Bonds <br />reallocation for Concord High School for $85.000.00. He advised bids for the <br />Concord High School Chiller Replacement project came in under budget, and the <br />funds are needed to purchase furniture for the new, larger dining room. He <br />further advised the school does not have enough furniture for the additional <br />expanded space and this reallocation of funds will be discussed at the <br />Cabarrus County School's June 18 t '' Board meeting. He also responded to <br />questions from the Board. <br />
