The County Manager is hereby authorized to transfer <br />revenues and appropriation within an ordinance as contained herein under the <br />following conditions: <br />a. The Manager may transfer amounts between objects of expenditures and <br />revenues within a function without limitation. <br />b. The Manager may transfer amounts up to $100,000 between functions of <br />the same ordinance. <br />c. The Manager may transfer amounts between contingency funds which are <br />set aside for a specific project for budgetary shortfalls or upon <br />the appropriate approval of a change order. <br />d. Upon notification of funding increases or decreases to existing <br />grants or revenues or the award of grants or revenues, the Manager <br />or Finance Officer may adjust budgets to match, including grants <br />that require a County match for which funds are available. <br />e. Poole, Chairman <br />ATTEST: <br />/s/ Kay Honeycutt <br />Clerk to the Board <br />(F -S) Sheriff's - Contract with Cabarrus County Schools for School Resource <br />Officers, $113,514.00 Annually <br />Cabarrus County has provided school Resource Officers to the Cabarrus <br />County School system through a contractual relationship for the past 5 years <br />in both high schools and middle schools. The Schools and the County wish to <br />continue this relationship and have initiated another contract to continue <br />the service. The school system will provide funding for each high school <br />Resource Officer in the amount tied to the State Planning Allotment Formula <br />dated FY 2012 -2013. The County will provide in -kind a Resource Officer at <br />each middle school.
