August 20, 2012 (Regular Meeting) Page 1210 <br />Chairman Poole announced RCCC (Rowan - Cabarrus Community College) will <br />hold the dedication for the 7 th Floor of the Sheriff's Administration Building <br />on August 27 t ', several Commissioners will attend; the Cabarrus Literacy <br />Council's Annual Fundraiser will be held on September 6 the ribbon- cutting <br />ceremony for the Cabarrus County Fair will be held on September 8 th and the <br />Canned Food Drive at the Fair will be held on Sunday, September 9th <br />GENERAL COMMENTS BY BOARD MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Carruth expressed appreciation for citizens' interest in <br />the budget, addressed fund balance and the completion of the annual audit. <br />WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br />None. <br />L) CLOSED SESSION <br />(L -1) Closed Session - Economic Develolomen't <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Measmer <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to discuss <br />matters relating to the location or expansion of industries or other <br />businesses in the area served by the public body as authorized by NCGS 143 - <br />318.11(a)(4).
