May 2, 2011 (Work Session) Page 417 <br />and Stephen Cude, Transportation Operations Supervisor, also responded to <br />questions related to trips to Locust and the FY 12 budget. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to place Section 5316 Job Access and <br />Reverse Commute Program Grant (JARC /LINKS) - Project No. 11 -JA -042 on the May <br />16, 2011 Agenda as a Consent item. <br />County Manager - Presentation of the Proposed FY 2012 Cabarrus County Budge <br />John Day, County Manager, advised the proposed FY 2012 Cabarrus County <br />Budget will be presented to the Board on flash drives at the May 16, 2011 <br />regular meeting with several budget workshops being held shortly thereafter. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Measmer <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to place Presentation of the <br />Proposed FY 2012 Cabarrus County Budget on the May 16, 2011 Agenda as a New <br />Business item. <br />Youth Council - Report on Current Activities <br />Commissioner Measmer advised the Youth Council will report on its <br />current activities at the regular meeting. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to place the "Youth Council Report <br />on Current Activities" on the May 16, 2011 Agenda as a New Business item. <br />BOC - Receive Updates from Commission Members Who Serve as Liaisons to <br />Municipalities or on Various Boards /Committees <br />Commissioner Carruth reported Monday is the peak adoption day at the <br />Animal Shelter and encouraged the public to visit on Mondays, May 9 16 and <br />23 at 4 p.m. <br />Cabarrus County Website <br />Aimee Hawkins, Communications and Outreach Manager, reported there will <br />be a formal presentation of the new county website at the May 16 meeting. <br />She advised the new website is due to come online on May 20 <br />Appointments to Boards & Committees <br />Chairman White requested all boards and committees with appointments <br />ending June 30, be listed on the "Request for County Boards /Committees" <br />Agenda item at the regular meeting. <br />Adjourn <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Carruth, <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 5:26 p.m. <br />Kay "cutt, o the Board <br />
