May 16, 2011 (Regular Meeting) Page 439 <br />Commissioner Carruth announced the new PBH (Piedmont Behavioral <br />Healthcare) facility dedication and retirement recognition for Dan Coughlin, <br />Area Director /CEO of PBH will be held on June 24 at 2 p.m. <br />Chairman White reported there was a free screening of the movie FRESH <br />on May 5 at the Gem Theatre in Kannapolis . He stated it was well attended <br />with approximately 450 people in attendance, including Commissioner Burrage. <br />He also commended the EDC (Economic Development Corporation) for bringing in <br />Michael Shuman, author of The Small -Mart Revolution: How Local Businesses <br />Are Beating the Global Competition for a presentation that he and <br />Commissioner Measmer recently attended. <br />(K) WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br />None. <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />(L -1) Closed Session - Location or Expansion of Industries <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to discuss <br />matters relating to the location or expansion of industries or other <br />businesses in the area served by the public body as authorized by NCGS 143 - <br />318.11(a)(4). <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Burrage <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out of closed session. <br />(M) Recess <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Burrage, <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting recessed at 8:40 p.m. to May 24, 2011 at <br />3:30 p.m. <br />'t'z� - <br />Kay one) utt7 to the Board <br />
