(F -2) Commerce - Revise Project Ordinance nor 2010 CDBG Scattered Site Rehabilitation Program Cabarrus County received the 2010 CDBG Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation Funding approval and associated contract. A project ordinance was previously established, however, it will need to be revised to allocate the grant funds. The grant project authorized is for the Community Development project described in the work statement contained in the grant agreement between Cabarrus County and the North Carolina Department of Commerce. Section 2. The officers of this unit are hereby directed to proceed with this project within the terms of the grant document(s),the NC Department of Commerce and the rules and regulations as set forth by the federal and state government, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the budget contained herein. Section 3. The following budgeted amounts are appropriated for the projects: CDBG Scattered Site Expenses: Consultants $ 50,000 Sub Contractor Construction $ 320,000 Local Option Urgent Repair $ 40,000 Section 4. The following revenues are anticipated to be available to complete this project: CDBG Scattered Site Revenues: Program Income $ 10,000 2010 CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Grant $ 400,000 Section 5. The Finance Officer is hereby directed to maintain within the Special Revenue Fund sufficient detailed accounting records to provide the accounting to the grantor agency required by the grant agreement(s) and federal and state regulations. Section 6. Funds may be advanced from the General Fund for the purpose of making payments as due. Reimbursement to the General Fund should be made in an orderly and timely manner.
