The project includes demolition of <br />the 1986 section of old jail, renovation of the 1970's portion of the old <br />jail and configuration of new surface parking in the same general area. <br />The "RFQ (Request for Qualifications) for Engineering and Architectural <br />Services in Proposed Demolition of Jail" was posted to the county website <br />( www. cabarrus county. us ) on January 13, 2011 at 6:44 p.m. per M.
