February 26, 2010 (Board Retreat) Pa e 1825 <br />9 <br />IBT (Interbasin Transfer) / Water Re ionalization <br />Commissioner Carruth addressed the number of water connections Concord <br />has with other entities and noted that Kannapolis does not have as many <br />connections. He questioned whether it is right or fair that all water supply <br />is controlled by one entity and whether WSACC (Water Sewer Authority of <br />Cabarrus County) should have a role in the provision of this resource. <br />Vice Chairman Poole announced WSACC is considering a plan to incinerate <br />sludge and sell electricity back to the grid. She also expressed the need <br />to fully understand the County's position on matters pertaining to WSACC. <br />Recess of Meeting <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board recessed the meeting at 8:11 p.m. until <br />9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Camp T.N.
