Mistry, do swear or affirm that I will well and truly <br />execute the duties of the office of Commissioner of the Cabarrus County <br />Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority according to <br />the best of my skill and ability, according to law; so help me, God. <br />/s/ Sanjay V. Mistry <br />(Name of Commissioner) <br />(H-4) Appointments - Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee (NHCAC) <br />The terms for Sally Milks and Sylvia Currie-Johnson ends March 31, <br />2010. Ms. Currie-Johnson desires to be reappointed to the Nursing Home <br />Community Advisory Committee (NHCAC). Ms. Milks does not desire <br />reappointment, but plans to complete her 1-year term ending March 31, 2010. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole and <br />unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Ms. Sylvia Currie-Johnson to the <br />Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee for a three-year term ending March <br />31, 2013. By the same vote, the Board removed Sally Milks from the roster <br />and acknowledged her service. <br />(H-5) Appointments - Transportation Advisory Board <br />An application has been received from Ms. Julia Patterson, who wishes <br />to be appointed to fill the (Cabarrus Health Alliance Healthy Cabarrus) <br />position left vacant by Ms. Patricia Crawford. An exception to the <br />Appointment Policy (residency provision) is needed for Ms. Patterson. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed Ms. Julia Patterson to the <br />Transportation Advisory Board to complete an unexpired term ending June 30, <br />2010 and granted an exception to the "residency provision" of the Appointment <br />Policy. <br />(I) REPORTS <br />(I-1) Commerce - Harrisburg Area Plan Update Summary Report Documents <br />(October 2009 - January 2010) <br />The Board received the Harrisburg Area Plan Update Summary Report <br />Documents (October 2009 - January 2010) as part of the Agenda. No action was <br />required of the Board. <br />(I-2) Request for Applications for County Boards/Committees <br />Chairman White urged citizens to consider serving on a County board or <br />committee. He asked interested individuals to contact the Clerk at 704-920- <br />2100 or to go to the County's website at <br />www.cabarruscounty.us/commissioners/boardsandcommittees and view information <br />on the various County boards and committees. <br />Applications are being accepted for the following County <br />Boards/Committees: <br />• Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br />• Centralina Workforce Development Board <br />• Concord Planning and Zoning Commission (ET J) <br />• Criminal Justice Partnership Advisory Board <br />• Harrisburg Fire Advisory Board <br />• Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority <br />• Juvenile Crime Prevention Council <br />• Mt. Pleasant Planning Board and Board of Adjustment <br />• Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee <br />• Piedmont Area Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse <br />Authority <br />• Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br />• Tourism Authority <br />• Transportation Advisory Board <br />
