Jay White, Sr. <br />(County Commissioner), W. Erwin Spainhour (Judge of Superior Court), Tom <br />Barcellona (District Attorney/Designee), and Benjamin S. Small (Criminal <br />Defense Attorney) to the Criminal Justice Partnership Program for three-year <br />terms ending April 30, 2013 (including an exception to the "length of <br />service" provision for W. Erwin Spainhour and an exception to the "service on <br />multiple boards" provision for Jodi Ramirez and Michael G. Knox. By the same <br />vote, the Board appointed Mark Antoszyk to the Criminal Justice Partnership <br />Program to fill an "At-large" position for a three-year term ending April 30, <br />2013 and acknowledged Anna Hood for her many years of service. <br />(H-3) Appointments - Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financin <br />Authority <br />The Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority met <br />on February 23, 2010 and agreed to recommend the reappointment of the <br />following members: Robert L. Pierce, Jr., Sherrill Laney, and Sanjay V. <br />Mistry. An exception to the "length of service" provision of the Appointment <br />Policy is needed for Mr. Pierce, Mr. Laney and Mr. Mistry. The Authority <br />meets only as needed and there has not been a meeting in the last several <br />years. The County Attorney serves as the contact for this Authority. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Robert L. Pierce, Jr., <br />Sherrill Laney and Sanjay V. Mistry to six-year terms ending January 10, 2016 <br />and granted an exception to the "length of service" provision of the <br />Appointment Policy for all three appointees. <br />In accordance with section five (5) of the resolution creating the <br />Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority adopted by <br />the Commission on January 24, 1978, the oaths administered to each member <br />shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners and entered into the meeting <br />minutes of the next regular meeting.
