Jay White, Sr. (County Commissioner), W. Erwin Spainhour (Judge of Superior Court), Tom Barcellona (District Attorney/Designee), and Benjamin S. Small (Criminal Defense Attorney) to the Criminal Justice Partnership Program for three-year terms ending April 30, 2013 (including an exception to the "length of service" provision for W. Erwin Spainhour and an exception to the "service on multiple boards" provision for Jodi Ramirez and Michael G. Knox. By the same vote, the Board appointed Mark Antoszyk to the Criminal Justice Partnership Program to fill an "At-large" position for a three-year term ending April 30, 2013 and acknowledged Anna Hood for her many years of service. (H-3) Appointments - Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financin Authority The Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority met on February 23, 2010 and agreed to recommend the reappointment of the following members: Robert L. Pierce, Jr., Sherrill Laney, and Sanjay V. Mistry. An exception to the "length of service" provision of the Appointment Policy is needed for Mr. Pierce, Mr. Laney and Mr. Mistry. The Authority meets only as needed and there has not been a meeting in the last several years. The County Attorney serves as the contact for this Authority. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Robert L. Pierce, Jr., Sherrill Laney and Sanjay V. Mistry to six-year terms ending January 10, 2016 and granted an exception to the "length of service" provision of the Appointment Policy for all three appointees. In accordance with section five (5) of the resolution creating the Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority adopted by the Commission on January 24, 1978, the oaths administered to each member shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners and entered into the meeting minutes of the next regular meeting.
