This new station along with Kannapolis station <br />No. 2 and No. 5 will allow Cabarrus County to discontinue its contract for <br />fire protection with the Enochville Fire Department, which is a Rowan County <br />Department. Therefore, the Cabarrus County Fire Marshal's office recommends <br />that the current contract for fire protection with Enochville Volunteer Fire <br />Department not be renewed. This contract requires a 90-day written notice of <br />the County's intent not to renew. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Poole, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation by the <br />Cabarrus County Fire Marshal's Office for non-renewal of the Enochville <br />Volunteer Fire Department's contract for fire protection. <br />(F-3) Finance - Budget Amendment (Sheriff's Administration Building <br />Construction Close-Out - $774.22 and Adjustment to Capital Reserve Fund - <br />$131,525.33) and Adopt Revised Capital Project Ordinance and Revised Capital <br />Reserve Resolution <br />Construction of the Sheriff's Administration Building has been <br />completed. The following budget amendment: (1) closes out the construction <br />project budgeted line items; (2) makes a transfer to the General Fund for the <br />
