May 3, 2010 (Work Session) Page 1909 <br />Commissioner Carruth advised there may be volunteer opportunities <br />within the County due to the recent cut backs. <br />Chairman White made the following announcements: <br />• May 14 is the EDC's Annual Stakeholders Summit - contact the Clerk for <br />registration; <br />• May 4 th is the primary election; <br />• May 25 - 27 budget workshops are scheduled at 3:30 p.m. (budget <br />documents are available on the Watercooler for review prior to the <br />meetings); <br />• May 17 - a closed session will be held at conclusion of the regular <br />meeting; <br />• May 19 - County Assembly Day in Raleigh; <br />• County's bond rating was upgraded to AA+ by all three rating agencies. <br />Adjourn <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole, <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 4:34 p.m. <br />Cle &0e Bo r <br />
