He further advised that the County contracted
with YCH Architects for architectural services and CM Black Construction for
Construction Manager at Risk services for the free - standing building that was
originally proposed at a different site. The Creamery project, he advised,
is a smaller renovation project.
Commissioner Carruth reported he was approached by a local contractor
who expressed concerns with the bid process since the project now is much
smaller in scope. He questioned whether the old Creamery building project
should be converted to a bid project.
