October 4, 2010 (Work Session) <br />Page 154 <br />Aging - Title V Additional Grant Funds to Establish (13) New Temporary <br />Positions and Related Budget Amendment - $132,182.00 <br />Michael Murphy, Director of Aging Services, presented information <br />related to the contract for additional Title V grant funding of $132,182.00 <br />to retrain older adults, including the establishment of thirteen (13) new <br />temporary part -time positions and related budget amendment. He also <br />responded to questions from the Board. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Poole <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to place Title V Additional Grant <br />Funds to Establish (13) New Temporary Positions and Related Budget Amendment <br />- $132,182.00 on the October 18, 2010 Agenda as a Consent item. <br />Commerce - Reservation of Capacity for Olive Woods Subdivision <br />Susie Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager, presented the following <br />information related a request for a Reservation of Capacity Certificate for <br />the Olive Woods subdivision: <br />Wayne Cline, acting as POA for Emily R. Cline, (2300 Sunset Road, <br />Charlotte, NC 28216) is requesting a Reservation of Capacity for <br />the Olive Woods residential subdivision project, which consists <br />of 5 single family units on +/- 25.17 acres located off Mt. Olive <br />Road in unincorporated Cabarrus County, North Carolina. <br />School Capacity Review <br />The Olive Woods residential subdivision project is expected to <br />produce approximately 2 elementary students, 1 middle school <br />student and 1 high school student for a total of 4 students. The <br />schools impacted by the project are Mt. Pleasant Elementary <br />School, Mt. Pleasant Middle School and Mt.
