<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarrus County Board of
<br />Commissioners, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A- 40(a), does
<br />hereby:
<br />(1) Establish the Board's regular agenda work session schedule to
<br />meet at 3:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental
<br />Center on the following dates:
<br />January 3, 2011 July 5, 2011 (Tuesday)
<br />February 7, 2011 August 1, 2011
<br />March 7, 2011 September 6, 2011 (Tuesday)
<br />April 4, 2011 October 3, 2011
<br />May 2, 2011 November 7, 2011
<br />June 6, 2011 December 5, 2011
<br />(2) Establish the Board's regular meeting schedule to meet at 6:30
<br />p.m. in the Commissioner's Meeting Room at the Governmental
<br />Center on the following dates:
<br />January 18, 2011 (Tuesday) July 18, 2011
<br />February 21, 2011 August 15, 2011
<br />March 21, 2011 September 19, 2011
<br />April 18, 2011 October 17, 2011
<br />May 16, 2011 November 21, 2011
<br />June 20, 2011 December 19, 2011
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any recessed, special or emergency meeting
<br />will be held as needed with proper notice as required by North Carolina
<br />General Statute 153A -40.

<br />(F -3) Commerce - Budget Amendment and Project Ordinance for HOME and CDBG
<br />Programs
<br />The following budget amendment returns $7,000.00 to the Contingency
<br />Fund that was allocated to the CDBG program because the county received
<br />program income that can cover the associated expenses. The amendment also
<br />allocates the $10,000.00 of program income to the CDBG program as required by
<br />the program guidelines for program income.
<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Burrage
<br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment and
<br />project ordinance:

<br />Purpose: This budget amendment is to correct Budget Amendment 2011 -03 -175 approved by the BOC at
<br />the September agenda. The transfer of $7,000 is no longer needed. This was necessary so that
<br />projects could begin until the funds were available to be reimbursed by the State. New funds have
<br />now been received in the amount of $10,000 from an outside source. These funds are being
<br />appropriated for use in the CDBG Scattered Site Program.
