Pleasant Poole Water and Sewer Authority Carruth /Poole Watershed Improvement Commission Carruth (F -2) BOC - Resolution Establishing the Board of Commissioners' 2011 Meeting Schedule A draft resolution establishing the Board's 2011 meeting schedule is provided for review and consideration. A date has not been determined for County Assembly Day which was held on May 19th last year. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Burrage and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution: Resolution No. 2010 -32 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2011 WHEREAS, the regular agenda work sessions of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are held on the first Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Board of Commissioners are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday requires a change in the regular meeting date in January 2011; and WHEREAS, the Independence Day and the Labor Day holidays requires a change in the agenda work session meeting dates in July and September 2011; and WHEREAS, the Board holds an annual goal- setting /planning retreat in the winter which is set for January 28 -29 at Camp T.N. Spencer; and WHEREAS, budget workshops are held annually and are scheduled for May 24, 25 and 26, 2011 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center; and WHEREAS, the Board may attend the following conferences /gatherings and desires to give the public ample notice: NCACC Legislative Goals Conference in Raleigh on January 20 -21, 2011; NACo Legislative Conference in Washington, DC on March 5 -9, 2011; NCACC County Assembly Day /Legislative Reception in Raleigh on _ (TBD) ; NACo Annual Conference in Portland, OR on July 15 -19, 2011; NCACC Annual Conference in Concord, NC on August 18 -21, 2011.
