Hartsell on his Retirement from the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department <br />Sgt. Roger W. Hartsell will retire from the Cabarrus County Sheriff's <br />Department on April 30, 2009. Chief Deputy Paul Hunt has requested that Sgt. <br />Hartsell's service weapon, a Sig Sauer, 90 Caliber, Model P266, Serial No. <br />0684355, be declared surplus and awarded to him for the price of $1.00, upon <br />his retirement from the Sheriff's Department, pursuant to N.C.G.S. 20-187.2. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board declared surplus and authorized the award <br />of the service weapon (Sig Sauer, 40 Caliber, Model P266, Serial No. 0684355) <br />for the price of $1.00 to Roger W.
