Chairman White <br />responded to questions from Commissioner Privette related to the incentives <br />for the speedway. <br />(K) WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT OF CAHARRUS COUNTY <br />None. <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />(L-1) Closed Session to Consult with the County Attorney and Discuss <br />Threatened or Pending Litigation Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3). <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to qo into Closed Session to consult <br />with the County Attorney to discuss threatened or pending litigation pursuant <br />to N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3). <br />Richard Koch, County Attorney, announced the Closed Session is related <br />to the following items: Chestnut Reserve, The Villages at Red Bridge and <br />Carolina Caps and Tees. <br />Due to a conflict of interest, Chairman White stated his intent to <br />recuse himself from the portion of the Closed Session that relates to The <br />Villages at Red Bridge. <br />(M) RECESS OF MEETING <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board recessed the meeting at 8:13 p.m. until <br />3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2008, at the Cabarrus County Governmental <br />Center. <br />Clerk o t B ~ <br />
