The <br />excise tax paid on this deed was $998.00. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board, in compliance with N.C.G.S. 105-228.37, <br />authorized a refund to Moretz and Skufca PLLC in the amount of $996.00. <br />(F-13) Renewal of Cabarrus/Iredell/Rowan HOME Consortium for the Period of <br />Anna-gym i <br />As required by federal regulations, the consortium is required every <br />three years to renew the consortium agreement. By signing the document, we <br />agree to be a part of the consortium, but not necessarily to participate each <br />year. The decision to actually participate is made annually. The renewal <br />agreement is required to keep the consortium intact, if any member decides <br />not to renew, it could bring about the demise of the consortium and reduce <br />federal housing funding to the region. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the renewal agreement for the <br />Cabarrus/Iredell/Rowan HOME Consortium for the period of 2008-2011 and <br />authorized the County Manager to execute the agreement. <br />(F-14) Reservation of Capacity Certificate - Coddle Creek Townhome Proiect <br />Coddle Creek Development Group, LLC., (2909 Concord Highway, <br />Monroe, NC 28110) is requesting a Reservation of Capacity for the <br />Coddle Creek Crossing Townhome project, which consists of 153 <br />residential townhome units on +/- 21.93 acres located at the <br />intersection of Pitts School Road and NC Highway 29 North in <br />Concord, North Carolina.. <br />School Capacity Review <br />Using the student generation rates established in the Schools <br />Voluntary Mitigation Payment Study prepared by TischlerBise, the <br />Coddle Creek Crossing residential townhome project is expected to <br />produce approximately 25 elementary students, 9 middle school <br />students and 13high schools students for a total of 97 students. <br />The schools impacted by the project are Pitts School Road <br />Elementary School, J.N. Fries Middle School and Jay M.
