The <br />following items were discussed: the GMP is $57,962,499,00; the GMP has been <br />reviewed by an independent consultant retained by the County (Faithful + <br />Gould); Faithful + Gould came up with a difference of approximately <br />$257,000.00 for painting and plumbing services; and if the final construction <br />price is less than the $57,962,499.00, the County will receive benefit of <br />those savings. <br />Commissioner Carruth MOVED to approve Turner Construction's GMP #9 of <br />$57,962,949.00 for the Jail Housing Unit, subject to LGC approval of the <br />financing in September and related budget amendment. Vice Chairman Juba <br />seconded the motion. <br />A lengthy discussion ensued. She stated these inspections <br />are required by the Department of Insurance and reported that David Boger, <br />representative of Trigon/Kleinfelder, is available to respond to questions. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba <br />with Chairman White, Vice Chairman Juba and Commissioner Carruth voting for <br />and Commissioner Privette voting against, the Board approved the contract <br />with Trigon/Kleinfelder for $238,900.00, subject to revisions by the County <br />Attorney and authorized the County Manager to execute the contract. <br />for <br />Pam Dubois, Deputy County Manager, presented information related to a <br />resolution approving installment contract financing for law enforcement <br />
