December 1, 2008 (Organizational Meeting) Page 1070 <br />Election of Vice Chairman <br />The County Manager turned the meeting over to Chairman White who called <br />for nominations for the position of Vice Chairman. <br />Commissioner Carruth nominated Commissioner Mynatt. Commissioner <br />Mynatt accepted the nomination. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to close nominations and elected <br />Commissioner Mynatt as Vice Chairman of the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners by acclamation. <br />Public Officials Bond for the Register of Daede <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved Public Official Bond in the <br />amount of $50,000.00 for Linda McAbee, Register of Deeds, in accordance with <br />N.C.G.S. 161-9. <br />Adjourn <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 6:91 p.m. <br />Cle the oa , <br />
