UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba and unanimously carried, the Board voted to place a resolutionacknowledging English as the official language of Cabarrus County on the January 22, 2007 Agenda as a New Business item. Tax Increment Financings (TIF) - North Carolina Research Campus Pro'ect Commissioner Privette asked when the Board will receive a presentation on the TIF (Tax Inr_x:ment Financing) for the N. C. Research Campus project. John Day, County Manager, stated according to 'the Kannapolis City Manager, Kannapolis is .still tweaking the numbers but expects action to be taken on January 22, 2007.
