February 19, 2007 (Regular Meeting) <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Richard S <br />Home Community Advisory Committee for a one-year term <br />2008. <br />GENERAL COMMENTS BY BOARD MEMBERS <br />None. <br />(K) WATER b SEWER DISTRICT OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br />No items of r~usiness. <br />(L) CLOSED SESS1'ON <br />Paqe 282 <br />Commissioner Privette <br />Eudy to the Nursing <br />ending February 26, <br />(L-2) Closed Session to Discuae Matters Relating to the Location or <br />Expansion of Industries as Authorized by NCG3 163.318.11(a)(4:) <br />UPON MOTION by Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Closed Session to consult <br />with the Attorney to preserve the attorney-client privilege, to discuss <br />threatened or pending litigation and to discuss matters relating to the <br />location or expansion of industries as authorized by NCGS 193.318.11(a) (3) <br />(9). Further, the Board invited the following people into the Closed <br />Session: Tony Harris, Safety & Risk Manager/ADA Coordinator; Don Cummings, <br />Human Resources Director, Ryan McDaniels, Director of Cabarrus Economic <br />Development Corporation (EDC) and DeSales Wagster, Cabarrus Convention and <br />Visitors Bureau. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out. of closed session. <br />(M) RECESS OF MEETING <br />With there being no further business to. come before the Board, Chairmar. <br />Carruth recessed the meeting at 9:55 p.m. until Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at <br />5;30 p.m. at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. <br />Clerk to he ar <br />
