February 19, 2007 (Regular Meeting) Page 261 <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment: <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDING CAPITAL FUND <br />AMOUNT: $290,000.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: A request is being made to write off the completed <br />Northwest Cabarrus High School Gym project that was funded through the Public <br />School Capital Fund. The project was completed June 2005. This request is <br />made for accounting purposes only. For FY 06/07, Cabarrus County budgeted $1,570,973.00 in current <br />expense funding. The entire Rowan Cabarrus Community College budget totaled <br />$96,362,603.00. By executing the attached request, Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners acknowledges their funding amount and the total budget of Rowan <br />Cabarrus Community College. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board authorized the Chairman to sign the <br />"Required Budget Request Sign-Off" form on behalf of Cabarrus County <br />indicating that the budget for Rowan-Cabarrus Community College has been <br />reviewed and approved in the amount of $96,362,603.00 with specific County <br />funding totaling $1,570,973.00. <br />Humanities <br />- S3udaet Amendment (Receipt of S1000 in grant funds <br />The library has received a grant for $1,000 from the North Carolina <br />Humanities Council to assist in the costs of a literary program series "Let's <br />Talk About It" that is being held at the Concord Library February through May <br />2007.
