Staff is proposing a water extension <br />project in the Moss Drive community with the remainder of the funds <br />reimbursing the City of Concord for the sewer project now beginning in Poplar <br />Trails subdivision. The funds must be used on projects within the fee <br />collection area. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Water Distribution System <br />Agreement between Cabarrus County and the City of Concord contingent upon <br />review and approval by the County Manager and County Attorney. <br />School Park <br />Informal bids were received for construction of a multipurpose building <br />at the Cox Mill School Park. The six original bids were over budget and <br />rejected by the Cabarrus Co. Parks and Recreation Department. The project <br />was redesigned. Design Studio 22, the project consultant, recommends the bid <br />be awarded to the low bidder, CM Black Construction Company, Inc. at <br />$177,487.00. On January 23, 2006, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />approved funds for replacement of Odell School Youth Athletic facilities at <br />the Cox Mill School Park site. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the $177,487.00 contract between <br />Cabarrus County and CM Black Construction Company, Inc. for construction of a <br />multipurpose building at Cox Mill School Park and authorized the County <br />Manager to execute the contract on behalf of Cabarrus County. <br />the <br />1 <br />Di <br />to <br />Informal bids were received on April 26, 2007 for an equipment shelter <br />for the County's Grounds-Maintenance Division at Frank Liske Park.
