Pleasant Planning Board & Board of Adjustment • Library Board of Trustees • (Others - to be determined) Reports: • New Accounting Procedures for Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) Commissioner White stated it would be appropriate to recognize all the teams that participated in the Odyssey of the Mind competition. There was a general consensus to add all the teams that participated in the Odyssey of the Mind Competition from Cabarrus County to the July Agenda for recognition. Commissioner Mynatt MOVED to place a discussion of a compromise on the jail housing unit on the July 23, 2007 Agenda as a New Business item. A general discussion ensued. After discussion, Commissioner White seconded the motion. The MOTION unanimously carried and further discussion continued. County Manager's Review Chairman Carruth reported the County Manager's performance review is due this month. He asked Board members to complete an evaluation form that will be provided by the Human Resources Department by July 23, 2007. After the evaluations are completed, he said the Chairman and Vice Chairman will present the results to the County Manager. Update - Ware Honsall Contract Amendment No. 12 John Day, County Manager, reported Ware Bonsall Architects and Turner Construction developed a time line and determined the number of site visits needed to complete the Sheriff's Administration building. Unfortunately, he said representatives from Ware Bonsall and Turner have not been able to present this information to Vice Chairman Juba. Vice Chairman Juba asked Commissioner White to attend the meeting. Note: A meeting date and time were not discussed. Closed Session UPON MOTION by Commissioner White, seconded by Commission Mynatt and unanimously carried, the Board voted to go into Closed Session to discuss a personnel matter(s) as authorized by North Carolina General Statute 143- 318.11(a)(6). UPON MOTION by Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Privette and unanimously carried, the Board voted to come out of Closed Session. Adiourn
