Pleasant Planning Board & Board of Adjustment <br />• Library Board of Trustees <br />• (Others - to be determined) <br />Reports: <br />• New Accounting Procedures for Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) <br />Commissioner White stated it would be appropriate to recognize all the <br />teams that participated in the Odyssey of the Mind competition. <br />There was a general consensus to add all the teams that participated in <br />the Odyssey of the Mind Competition from Cabarrus County to the July Agenda <br />for recognition. <br />Commissioner Mynatt MOVED to place a discussion of a compromise on the <br />jail housing unit on the July 23, 2007 Agenda as a New Business item. A <br />general discussion ensued. After discussion, Commissioner White seconded the <br />motion. The MOTION unanimously carried and further discussion continued. <br />County Manager's Review <br />Chairman Carruth reported the County Manager's performance review is <br />due this month. He asked Board members to complete an evaluation form that <br />will be provided by the Human Resources Department by July 23, 2007. After <br />the evaluations are completed, he said the Chairman and Vice Chairman will <br />present the results to the County Manager. <br />Update - Ware Honsall Contract Amendment No. 12 <br />John Day, County Manager, reported Ware Bonsall Architects and Turner <br />Construction developed a time line and determined the number of site visits <br />needed to complete the Sheriff's Administration building. Unfortunately, he <br />said representatives from Ware Bonsall and Turner have not been able to <br />present this information to Vice Chairman Juba. <br />Vice Chairman Juba asked Commissioner White to attend the meeting. <br />Note: A meeting date and time were not discussed. <br />Closed Session <br />UPON MOTION by Commissioner White, seconded by Commission Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board voted to go into Closed Session to discuss a <br />personnel matter(s) as authorized by North Carolina General Statute 143- <br />318.11(a)(6). <br />UPON MOTION by Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to come out of Closed Session. <br />Adiourn <br />
