July 23, 2007 (Regular Meeting) Page 510 <br />(H-2) Cabarrus County Library Board of Trustees <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed Mary R. Little to the Cabarrus <br />County Library Board of Trustees representing southern Cabarrus County for a <br />three-year term ending July 31, 2010. <br />(H-3) Mt. Pleasant Planning Board and Board of Adjustment <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Juba, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board reappointed John Murdock, III, Whit Moose, Jr. <br />and Margaret Strickland (Alternate) to the Mt. Pleasant Planning Board and <br />Board of Adjustment for 3-year terms ending June 30, 2010 as Extraterritorial <br />Jurisdiction members. <br />(I) REPORTS <br />(I-1) Finance Department - A Report on New Accountin Procedures for Other <br />Poet Employment Benefits (OPEB) <br />"A Report on New Accounting Procedures for Other Post Employment <br />Benefits (OPEB)" was included as part of the Agenda. <br />(J) GENERAL COMMENTS BY HOARD MEMBERS <br />Commissioner White stressed the importance of recognizing academic <br />success of students as well as athletes. <br />Chairman Carruth encouraged citizens to keep Commissioner Privette, his <br />family and the community in their prayers. <br />(K) WATER S SEWER D26TRICT OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br />No items of business. <br />(L) CLOSED SESSION <br />None. <br />(M) ADJOURN <br />With there being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Carruth adjourned the meeting at 9:59 p.m. <br />Clerk to he B <br />
