Streets that are not designed to NCDOT or <br />City of Concord standards will not be accepted for maintenance. <br />Chairman Carruth opened the public hearing at 6:55 p.m. The Public <br />Hearing Notice was published in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on July 30 and August <br />9, 2007 and in THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER (Cabarrus Neighbors) on August 9, 2007. <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore, Chairman <br />Carruth closed the public hearing. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Ordinance amending the <br />Cabarrus County Subdivision Ordinance: <br />Ordinance No. 2007-10 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br />SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE (C2007-O1-ST) <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Subdivision Ordinance is hereby <br />amended as follows: <br />APPENDIX A-Typical Street Cross Sections <br />DELETE all existing drawings, tables and standards for street typical <br />standards located in Appendix A, pages A-1 through A-6 (Residential <br />Collector Parkway, Residential Collector, Residential Street, Alley, <br />Rural Residential, Requirements for Dead-End and Stub .Streets, Cul de- <br />Sac, Cul-de-Sac with Island, Hammerhead and Loop Lane) <br />REPLACE deleted text and drawings with corrected drawings, tables, text <br />and standards for street typicals. Since that time, she said clarifications were made to Option No. 1. <br />in response to questions from Commissioner White. She reviewed the proposed <br />changes to Option No. 1, reviewed Option No. 2 and responded to a variety of <br />questions from the Board. <br />Chairman Carruth opened the public hearing on Text Amendment C2007- <br />007ZT to add Chapter 15, Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance text to the <br />Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance at 7:05 p.m. The Public Hearing Notice was <br />published on August 9 and 16, 2007 in THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER (Cabarrus <br />Neighbors) and on August 9 and 13, 2007 in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE. <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore, Chairman <br />Carruth closed the public hearing. <br />Ms. Zakraisek and Jonathan Marshall, the Commerce Director, responded <br />to additional questions from the Board on both options.
