Furthermore, Carolina Green was the lowest bidder. <br />A bid tabulation sheet is attached. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Juba, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board awarded the contract to Carolina Green <br />Corporation in the amount of $196,890.00 for year one and $151,300.00 for <br />year 2 (subject to budget appropriation in FY 08-09) for grounds maintenance <br />at Frank Liske Park Soccer Complex and authorized the County Manager to <br />execute the contract, subject to review and/or revision by the County <br />Attorney. <br />(F-15) Resolution Amending the 2007 Meeting Schedule for the Cabarrus County <br />Hoard of Commissioners <br />The 2007 Meeting Schedule must be amended to change the date of the <br />September work session to September 9`", include the Growth Summit scheduled <br />for September lOt" and to revise Section 3, to reflect the election of a <br />Chairman and Vice Chairman in odd numbered years. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Juba, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution: <br />Resolution No. 2007-18 <br />Resolution Amending the 2007 Meeting Schedule for the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />Whereas, on December 18, 2006 the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners adopted a meeting schedule for calendar year 2007; <br />Whereas, Section 3 of the 2007 Meeting Schedule, set an organizational <br />meeting for Monday, December 3, 2007 in error; <br />Whereas, the adopted Rules of Procedure state in odd numbered years the <br />Chairman and Vice Chairman are elected at the first regular meeting in <br />December; <br />Whereas, the September agenda work session is scheduled for Monday, <br />September 10, 2007 at 3:30 p.m.; <br />Whereas, a facilitated Growth Summit is also scheduled for Monday, <br />September 10 at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Concord; <br />Now therefore be it resolved, the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners hereby amends its 2007 Meeting Schedule as follows: <br />• The September agenda work session will be held on Tuesday, <br />September 4, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at <br />the Governmental Center; and <br />• A Growth Summit will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007 <br />at 9:00 a.m. at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center; and <br />• The Chairman and Vice Chairman will be elected at the <br />regular meeting in December in accordance with the Hoard's <br />adopted Rules of Procedures. <br />Adopted this the 20t" day of August, 2007. <br />/s/ Robert W. She further reported the street typicals in the <br />Zoning Ordinance were adopted and now the Subdivision Ordinance must also be <br />amended for consistency. In response to questions from the .Board, she <br />explained the current street standards are not in keeping with the design <br />standards established by the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br />
