(G-2) Text Amendment C2007-02-ST Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance-Public Hearing - 6:30 p.m. Susie Zakraisek Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager, presented information on Text Amendment No. C2007-02-ST. She explained the purpose of the amendment to Chapter 9, Section 17 of the County's Subdivision Ordinance is to ensure consistency between the ,subdivision and zoning ordinance by referencing the newly adopted Chapter 15, Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance, of the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance. She reported a public hearing is required. At 7:10 p.m. Chairman Carruth opened the public hearing on Text Amendment C2007-02-ST. The Public Hearing Notice was published on September 6 and 13, 2007 in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE and on September 9 and 13, 2007 in THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER (Cabarrus Neighbors). There was no one present to address the Board; therefore, Chairman Carruth closed the public hearing. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner White and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following ordinance amending the Cabarrus County Subdivision Ordinance, C2007-02-ST: Ordinance No. 2007-12 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE (C2007-02-ST) BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Subdivision Ordinance is hereby amended as follows: ADD the following language to Chapter 4, Section 17: in accordance with Chapter 15 of the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance. She reported the proposed amendment to the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance addresses the changes in State statutes (Senate Bill 631, ratified on August 2, 2007) concerning the regulation of Wireless Telecommunication Services. She reported a copy of the current text and the proposed text was included in the agenda and that a public hearing is required. At 7:11 p.m., Chairman Carruth opened the public hearing on Text Amendment No. C2007-OB-ZT.
