September 17, 2007 (Regular Meeting) Page 556 <br />Ordinance No. 2007-13 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br />ZONING ORDINANCE (C2007-08-ZT) <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br />DELETE Chapter 6, Section 28 <br />ADD new chapter 8, Section 28. <br />Amend Table in Section 3-8 to add co-locations as a permitted based on <br />standards use. <br />Amend Table 2 in Chapter 7 to add co-locations. <br />Amend Table 3 in Chapter 8 to add Wireless Telecommunications Services. <br />Adopted this the 17`" day of September, 2007 by the Cabarrus County Board <br />of Commissioners. <br />/s/ Robert W. Carruth, Chairman <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />ATTEST: <br />Kay Honeycutt <br />Kay Honeycutt, Clerk to the Board <br />(G-4) Ware Bonsall Architects - Amendment No. it <br />Commissioner White requested Amendment No. 11 be tabledto October 15, <br />2007, in order for him to complete his research and get his questions <br />answered. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board tabled its consideration of Ware Bonsall <br />Architects' Amendment No. 11 until the October 15, 2007 regular meeting. <br />(G-5) Report by the County Attorney on Possible Actions with Regard to <br />Commissioner Privette <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba and <br />unanimously carried, the Board voted to table the report by the County <br />Attorney on possible actions with regard to Commissioner Privette <br />indefinitely. <br />Presentation <br />o£ a <br />This item was removed from the Agenda at the request of the Economic <br />Development Corporation. <br />£rom <br />I- <br />Chairman Carruth commented on the need to accelerate the construction <br />of Interstate 85 and the replacement of the Yadkin River Bridge. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution: <br />Resolution No. 2007-21 <br />RESOLOTION REQUESTING THE ACCELERATION OF I-85 IN ROWAN AND CABARROS COUNTIES <br />The following resolution was offered by Commissioner White and seconded by <br />Commissioner Privette and upon being put to a vote was duly adopted. <br />WHEREAS, The Transportation Efficiency Act promotes regional transportation <br />planning that includes development of projects that promote safe movements of <br />people and vehicles; and <br />WHEREAS, The Cabarrus-Rowan MPO has identified I-85 as the critical <br />north/south corridor in this 2 County Area; and <br />
