Several City Council members expressed <br />opposition to the amendment and further discussion ensued. Issues addressed <br />included the following: partnerships; spirit of compromise and removal of <br />the parking decks from the project list. <br />Vice Chairman Juba's AMENDMENT failed with Vice Chairman Juba and <br />Commissioner Privette voting for and Chairman Carruth and Commissioners <br />Mynatt and White voting against. <br />Commissioner White's original MOTION, as set forth above, unanimously <br />carried. <br />There was a brief discussion on the status of the Interlocal Agreement <br />and the concept of both Boards ceremonially signing the Agreement at a future <br />meeting. <br />Report by the County Attorney on Possible Actions with Regard to Commissioner <br />Privette <br />Commissioner White reported since the time Commissioner Privette <br />announced his intent to resign from the Commission, his house has not been <br />listed on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) and a "For Sale" sign has not <br />been posted in his yard. Commissioner White made a MOTION to reconsider the <br />report by the County Attorney on possible actions with regard to Commissioner <br />Privette at the October 15, 2007 regular meeting. Vice Chairman Juba <br />seconded the motion.
