A five-member <br />advisory board will be appointed with two members appointed by the Board of <br />Commissioners from the unincorporated area of the Harrisburg Fire District. <br />The Town and Department recommended the appointment of Dana Ritchie and <br />Graydon Choinski as the appointees from the unincorporated area. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Chairman Carruth and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed Dana Ritchie for a one-year term and <br />Graydon Choinski for a two-year term to the Harrisburg Fire Advisory Board <br />effective July 1, 2006. <br /> <br />(H-2) Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Freeman <br />and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed commissioners Carruth and Juba <br />to the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County for three-year terms <br />ending June 2009. <br /> <br />(H-3) Criminal Justice Partnership Program Advisory Board <br /> <br />The terms of appointment for Sheriff Brad Riley, Concord Police Chief <br />Merl Hamilton, Dana Nance (Probation Officer), Teresa Rettinger <br />(Probation/Parole), Robert H. Davis (Community Based Agency Employment <br />Security Commission/vocational Rehabilitation) and Nicola Bivens (At <br />large/Education) ended on April 30, 2006. The Criminal Justice Partnership <br />Program Advisory Board voted to recommend the reappointment of those members. <br />However I Dana Nance, who has served more than six years, has opted to be <br />replaced by Meredith Suther who will be presented for approval at a later <br />date. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Freeman <br />and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed the following members to the <br />Criminal Justice Partnership Program Advisory Board for terms of three years <br />ending April 30, 2009: Sheriff Brad Riley, Concord Police Chief Merl <br />Hamilton, Robert Davis, Nicola Bivens and Teresa Rettinger. <br /> <br />(H-4) Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the <br />Region F Aging Advisory Committee for a <br /> <br />Privette, seconded by Commissioner <br />Board reappointed Anita Helms to the <br />two-year term ending June 30, 2008. <br /> <br />(H-S) Centra1ina Workforce Development Board <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Freeman, seconded <br />and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed <br />(Private Sector) and Beth Wanke (Private Sector) to <br />Development Board (CWDB) for terms of two years as <br />The terms will end on June 30, 2008. <br /> <br />by Commissioner Privette <br />Robert "Bob" VanGorden <br />the Centralina Workforce <br />recommended by the CWDB. <br /> <br />Chairman Carruth reviewed the list of vacancies <br />Boards and Committees.
