This <br />waterline will ensure that the volume and pressure of water <br />needed to support this project will be available when <br />needed. The City of Concord will design a portion of this <br />waterline and will participate in the cost of installation. <br /> <br />Mr. Downs further reported the retaining wall and the waterline design are <br />outside the scope of the current contract with Ware Bonsall Architects. He <br />stated contract amendment No. 9 totaling $28,200.00 is necessary to proceed <br />with the design phase of these two projects. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Chairman Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Freeman and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved amendment No. 9 ($28,200.00) to the <br />contract with Ware Bonsall Architects for design services for the Law <br />Enforcement Center and authorized the County Manager to execute the contract, <br />subject to review and revision by the County Attorney.
