General Statute 143-318.11(a) (6) (3) <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Freeman, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Closed Session to <br />consider a personnel matter and discuss pending litigation as authorized by <br />N.C. General Statute 143-318.11 (a) (6) (3) . <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Carpenter, seconded by Chairman Carruth and unanimously <br />carried, the Board moved to come out of Closed Session. <br /> <br />Exception to Personnel Ordinance <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner <br />Privette and unanimously carried, the Board approved an exception to section <br />6, vacation Leave - Manner of Accumulation, of the Cabarrus County Personnel <br />Ordinance to allow the new Budget and organizational Performance Manager to <br />earn vacation starting at a rate of 15 days per year. <br /> <br />Appointment of County Attorney <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Richard M.
