November 13, 2006 (Recessed Meeting) Page 157 <br />The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in recessed <br />session in the Multipurpose Room at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center <br />in Concord, North Carolina on Monday, November 13, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. <br />Present - Chairman: Robert W. Carruth <br />Vice Chairman: Joni D. Juba <br />Commissioners: Carolyn B. Carpenter <br />Robert M. Freeman <br />Absent - Commissioner: Coy C. Privette <br />Also present were Commissioner Elect Jay White; John D. Day, County <br />Manager; Richard M. Koch, County Attorney; Mike Downs, Deputy County Manager; <br />Pam Dubois, Deputy County Manager; Kay Honeycutt, Clerk to the Board and Amy <br />Griffith, Deputy Clerk to the Board. <br />Chairman Carruth called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m. He announced <br />Commissioner Privette is out of town. <br />Richard M. Koch, County Attorney, was not present for the beginning of <br />the meeting. <br />of the Value Engineering Items Presented November 6, 2006, for the <br />s Office <br />Kevin Gass and Scott Pyle, with Turner Construction, briefly reviewed <br />the following list of value engineering items for the Sheriff's <br />Administration Building and Housing Building.
