<br />reimbursed for the expense upon issuance of Certificates of Participation for
<br />the project.

<br />Amendment # 2 to the Contract for Construction Manager at Risk for the
<br />rnnatruction of the Cabarrus County Detention Center and Sheriff's

<br />For informational purposes, Amendment #2 was distributed. Richard M.
<br />Koch, County Attorney, questioned the substantial completion date of August
<br />15, 2008. Kevin Gass, with Turner Construction, reported August 15 is an
<br />occupancy date. Mr. Koch stated Amendment #2 needs to be corrected. Also,
<br />Pam Dubois, Deputy County Manager, reported the GMP (Guaranteed Maximum
<br />Price) of $61,035,296.00 should be reduced by $13,000,000.00 based on the
<br />Board's approval of Amendment #3.
