These signs will be sold, recouping <br />the costs of the signs. This budget amendment appropriates the expenditure <br />for the signs and corresponding revenue. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment: <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br />DEPARTMENT OF COOPERATIVE EXTENSION <br />AMOUNT: $5,881.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Purchase Agricultural District signs for resale to the <br />District members. An original Capital Projects Ordinance was established on <br />December 16, 1996 when Cabarrus County was up-fitting the Human Services <br />Building. The Capital Projects Fund is currently being used for small non- <br />debt types of projects including park improvements and construction of a <br />communications tower. The following updated ordinance will match the <br />intended use of the fund. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following project ordinance <br />for the Capital Projects Fund: Ord. No. 2006-17 <br />CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND <br />CAPITAL PROJECT ORDINANCE <br />BE IT ORDAINED, by the Governing Board of Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina, that, pursuant to Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of <br />the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital <br />project ordinance is hereby adopted: <br />Section 1. The project authorized for smaller non-debt <br />Capital Projects conducted by the County. <br />
