These signs will be sold, recouping the costs of the signs. This budget amendment appropriates the expenditure for the signs and corresponding revenue. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Privette and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment: BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST DEPARTMENT OF COOPERATIVE EXTENSION AMOUNT: $5,881.00 TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Purchase Agricultural District signs for resale to the District members. This budget amendment appropriates the expense and offsetting revenue for the sales. Present Account No. Approved Budget Increase Decrease Revised Budget 00195410-9390 $400.00 $5,881.00 $6,281.00 Purchase for Resale 00165410-6606 $17,000.00 $5,881.00 $22,881.00 Program Fees (F-3) Capital Projects Ordinance for the Capital Project Fund The Capital Projects Fund is a multi-year fund and is not included in the annual budget. An original Capital Projects Ordinance was established on December 16, 1996 when Cabarrus County was up-fitting the Human Services Building. The Capital Projects Fund is currently being used for small non- debt types of projects including park improvements and construction of a communications tower. The following updated ordinance will match the intended use of the fund. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Privette and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following project ordinance for the Capital Projects Fund: Ord. No. 2006-17 CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND CAPITAL PROJECT ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Governing Board of Cabarrus County, North Carolina, that, pursuant to Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project ordinance is hereby adopted: Section 1. The project authorized for smaller non-debt Capital Projects conducted by the County.
