<br />January 24, 2005 (Regular Meeting) <br /> <br />Page <br /> <br />60 <br /> <br />(F-3) Parks and Recreation - Budget Amendment (Contribution from the City of <br />Concord and Cabarrus Soccer Association for the Frank Liske Park Soccer <br />Complex) <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Juba, seconded by Commissioner Freeman and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the following budget amendment. <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br />AMOUNT: $300,000.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To adjust the budget to reflect the total contract <br />amounts that the City of Concord and the Cabarrus Soccer Association will <br />contribute for the Frank Liske Park Soccer Complex. Cabarrus County amended <br />the current contractual agreement with the City of Concord and Cabarrus <br />Soccer Association to allow each entity to pay $50,000.00 annually over a six <br />year period rather than three years. Each entity will have contributed <br />$300,000.00 at the end of the contract (December 2006). Further, the Board <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the Agreement on behalf of Cabarrus <br />County. <br /> <br />(F-6) Amendment to the Regional Orthophotography Contract Approved in <br />December 2004 <br />
