Bonds, Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />(F-14) Disposition of Property Owned by the Kannapo1is City Board of <br />Education <br /> <br />The Kannapolis City Board of Education desires to sell a piece of real <br />estate that is no longer necessary or desirable for school purposes. The <br />parcel is approximately 2.0 acres in size and is located across the street <br />from the former Charles B. Aycock Elementary School property that was sold in <br />1998. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to waive the right of first refusal <br />to purchase the approximately 2.0 acres that fronts on Dale Earnhardt <br />Boulevard and was part of the former Charles B. Aycock Elementary School <br />site; and agreed for the Kannapolis City Schools to pursue the sale of <br />property pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 115C-518. <br /> <br />(F-15) <br /> <br />Tax Refund and Release Reports - February 2005 <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the February 2005 Release <br />Refund Report as submitted by J.
