The maj or change was to <br />designate the Firemen's Association Board of Directors as the First Responder <br />Advisory Board due to difficulty of the First Responder Advisory Board in <br />scheduling and conducting meetings as required by the ordinance. The <br />Firemen's Association Board of Directors has similar membership and holds <br />regular quarterly meetings. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Ordinance. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2005-02 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North <br />Carolina, that Chapter 26, Article III, First Responder Program (Sections 26- <br />51 through 26-68) of the Code of Ordinances, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />First Responder Ordinance <br />Amended and approved September 21, 1998 <br />Code of Ordinances, Cabarrus County, North Carolina <br />Chapter 26 Emergency Services, <br />Article III. First Responder Program, Sections 26 -51 through 26-68 <br /> <br />ARTICLE III. FIRST RESPONDER PROGRAM <br /> <br />Sec. 26-51. Purpose of article. <br />The Ceounty Eemergency Mffiedical SService has transport vehicles certified by <br />the Setate Oeffice of Eemergency Mffiedical sservices (OEMS), which are manned <br />by personnel trained and certified as ppararnedics (EMT-P).
