<br />May 31, 2005 - Recessed Meeting <br /> <br />Page <br /> <br />204 <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Chairman Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Freeman and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the proposed budget for the Cabarrus <br />County Fair as presented. <br /> <br />Transportation <br /> <br />Randy Bass, Director of Transportation, presented the proposed budget <br />for the Transportation Department. <br /> <br />Chairman Carpenter questioned the increase in the salary line item. <br /> <br />Pam Dubois, Deputy County Manager, reported several positions were <br />reclassified during the salary study. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Chairman Carpenter I seconded by Commissioner <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the proposed budget <br />Transportation Department as presented. <br /> <br />Privette <br />for the <br /> <br />Department of Aging <br /> <br />Mike Murphy, Director of Aging, presented the proposed budgets for the <br />following Department of Aging programs: Nutrition, Senior Services, and 1n- <br />Home Services. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Freeman <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the proposed budget for the <br />Nutrition program in the Department of Aging as presented. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Chairman Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the proposed budget for the <br />Senior Services program in the Department of Aging as presented. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Chairman Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the proposed budget for the In- <br />Home Services program in the Department of Aging as presented. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting <br /> <br />with there being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Carpenter recessed the meeting at 7:04 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. June 2, 2005, in <br />the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center. <br /> <br />,~~ <br />
