<br />October 17, 2005 - Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Page <br /> <br />379 <br /> <br />(L-l) Closed Session to Consult with the County Attorney and Discuss the <br />Acquisition of Property <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Freeman <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Closed Session to consult <br />with the County Attorney to preserve the attorney-client privilege, to <br />discuss pending or threatened Ii tigation and to discuss the acquisition of <br />property along Corban Avenue as authorized by N. C. General Statute 143- <br />318.11 (a) (3) (5) . <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carriedl the Board moved to corne out of Closed Session. <br /> <br />(M) RECESS OF MEETING <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting was recessed at 10: 20 p. ffi. until 3: 00 <br />p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2005, in the Multipurpose Room at the <br />Governmental Center. <br /> <br />J-~~.~ <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />
